Linda Truesdell is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), who offers psychiatric mental health care services including diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic interventions. Linda seeks to work with clients across the lifespan from adolescence through adulthood and incorporates ideals of person-centered therapy and evidence-based practice. She aspires to participate in a collaborative effort to facilitate multi-disciplinary treatment plans that focus on patient guided values and goals, provided in an atmosphere of respect and acceptance. Linda completed her education as a Registered Nurse in Manitoba, Canada, and brings with her 28 years of experience in healthcare in multiple specialties, including women’s healthcare, labor and delivery, and school health (pediatrics). She went on to complete her Bachelor’s in the Science of Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, and her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner education at the University of Texas at Austin. When she is relaxing, Linda enjoys reading, traveling, skiing, and spending time with her family.
